Viking Cup 2008 report: 5 Vision TKD Students took part in the Viking Cup 2008 with Steven Arroyo winning gold in the 2nd Degree Male Pattern and Felix Kelly winning gold in the -63Kgs sparring. Sainsbury’s Active Schools: Vision Taekwon-Do Association are proud to be working in conjunction with Sainsbury’s Active Schools. The first set of sessions will take place at the Brambletye Primary School in Redhill, May.

New Class: In March Mr Denman will be opening a new class in Hawkhurst, Kent. See the schools section for times and venue.
International Instructors Courses in Europe: There are two International Instructors Courses in Europe this year, the first is in Italy and the second in Ireland. Please contact your intsructor for details on how to apply to participate. Students must be at least a red belt to take part. Click here to see the details.

The new TKD Tigers website: is now live, parents will be able to download the syllabus and the kids will be able to play games on the site. New elements will be added over the next few months and will end up being an essential part of the Tigers development. Parents must first of all register by emailing their email address. Please contact your instructor for your login by emailing directly to them on the schools directory. The site can be visited at www.tkdtigers.com
New Ladies Korean Kickboxing Class in Uckfield: After the success of the Ladies Korean Kickboxing class on Wednesdays at Freedom Leisure Crowborough 12pm-1pm, there will now be a new class on Mondays taking place at Freeom Leisure Uckfiled from Monday 4th February 12pm-1pm. Many mums come to this class and enjoy the lighthearted workout to music where they have the opportunity to do some fitness, padwork and conditioning. A great way to start 2008.
Vision members selected for England: Five members of Vision TKD have been selected to represent ITF England at the 2008 European Championships in Poland. Click here for details.
Uckfeld venue change: The Uckfield Wednesday class venue will change from the Foresters Hall to Freedom Leisure Uckfield on Wednesday 6th February. The times for the TKD Tigers and Kids will stay the same and will take place in the dance studio, but the adults class will be in the main hall from 7.30pm-8.30pm.
New Lewes class: Mr Stuart Arroyo has opened up a new class in Lewes. Click the Schools section to see location and times. There are also class times now available for Wokingham, Guildford, Cranbrook, Tenterden and New Ash Green.

ITF England Championships: Vision dominated the ITF England Championships in Crawley on 24th November. Click here for a brief summary of how the schools did. Click here to see the photos. Black belt training: Vision TKD Association held it's first black belt training session. Click here to read about it.
Midland ABA Novice Boxing Title: Last weekend Felix Kelly won the Midland ABA Novice Boxing Title after months of fighting through the rounds. European Taekwon-Do Champion Felix has been boxing whilst at University in Birmingham since last year and has now taken his first title which now gives him the opportunity to fight boxers from all over the country in the nationals. We will keep you updated on his progress.

Malaysia trip: 7 Brits travelled to Malaysia for a two week holiday with Master Tan and some of his students. It was a fantastic adventure, which you can read all about here. Also, check out a selection of the photos from this gallery.
London Open: Felix Kelly and James Emblin both win Gold in sparring at the London Open on 15th July in Guildford. Felix won the senior -71Kgs black belt category and James Emblin won the junior -45Kgs category. James also won 1st Degree patterns.
Korean Kick Boxing Fight Night: On the 30th June Vision Taekwon-Do hosted the Korean Kick Boxing Fight Night in Crowborough. International competitors from England, Ireland and Scotland competed against each other in a spectacular night. Click HERE for more the report and photos .

Ten years of Vision England: This month is the tenth anniversary of Vision Taekwon-Do in England. In 1996 Mr Lear returned from living in Malaysia and started Vision in Crowborough. Read Mr Lear's article here and check out some old photos here.
Vision vs Synergy Challenge: The 1st Vision vs Synergy Challenge took place at Goldsmiths Leisure Centre, Crowborough on Saturday the 6th May. The competition was a huge success and Vision won the team challenge. Click here for more info and the results.
International Instructors Course: Several members of Vision TKD went to the 16th ITF International Instructors Course, in Dorking, Surrey.
