| Vision TKD are pleased to announce that we have be changed our tots programme from January 2007 to the TKD Tigers (Total Kids Defence). This is an exciting new programme that is a life skills and Danger awareness course, based around Taekwon-Do. As in our previous course we do not teach the children how to hurt others. But through fun activities and role playing games, the children learn how to deal with Strangers, Bullies, Emergencies and Day-to-Day dangers, building their self awareness and confidence at every stage. |
The course lasts for 18 months, starting at bronze and finishing at Gold whilst taking gradings to earn stripes and Awareness certificates on the Safety, Stranger Awareness, Bully Awareness, Team Work, and Leadership. |

Tigers classes are available in: Crowborough, Redhill, Uckfield, Hastings, Tonbridge, Kings Hill and Guildford. Please see the training page for class times. |

We conduct official gradings on Saturdays every term, where the children have an opportunity to show off the skills they have learnt and will be able to earn a stripe, a badge and a certificate on the day. This programme is currently being endorsed by professionals across the UK in Schools, the Firebrigade and the Police and is set to become as big as Yoga-Bugs. Each
child will receive a large book to practice their new techniques with
the parents at home. The book shows drills for Stranger awareness, bully
drills, good secret/bad secret etc… and will give your child the
best opportunity to have a good strong foundation for their life ahead.
The book is also a grading record of how they progress through the syllabus |

Sometimes the parents to may be asked to join in with the sessions, this may be to act as a stranger or in some role-play activity. Each class lasts for 45 minutes and the children take part in one session per week for the whole term. It is possible for children to start half way through a term.
